LIABILITY:
CATALINA TOURS, agents, and sponsoring organizations (collectively, CATALINA TOURS) act only as agent for the suppliers of transportation, accommodations, food, and other goods and services provided to the passenger. All arrangements for transport, accommodations, and services are made upon the express condition that CATALINA TOURS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damage, injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity of any kind occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including, without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as an airline, cruise line, train, hotel, restaurant, ground handler, etc., who is to or does supply any goods or services for the tour. Without limiting the foregoing CATALINA TOURS is not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, quarantine, criminal activity, or for any other cause beyond its control. If any passenger leaves or is removed from the tour, a refund only for refundable unused services shall be made.

AMENDMENTS:

Much care has gone into the composition of itineraries and costings for your adventure, however circumstances such as devaluation or fuel surcharges may necessitate changes in costs and itineraries.
Should this occur you would be notified as soon as possible, although CATALINA TOURS does reserve the right to change the itinerary of the tour without prior notice. Notwithstanding that deposits or complete payments have been made, any increases up until the date of departure of arrangements resulting to the above are to be paid by the purchaser/passenger. If such increases are unacceptable, the passenger may cancel his/her booking, though in so doing s/he is still liable to pay any cancellation charges imposed in the way of cancellation, administration, communication charges etc. CATALINA TOURS reserve the right to charge for amendments to a confirmed itinerary. The first amendment is complimentary, but all subsequent amendments are subject to an R180.00 fee per amendment.

Changes in the LIABILITY clause can be made only in writing signed by an officer of CATALINA TOURS.
Deposits paid indicate acceptance of the above terms and conditions.

RATES:
Rates are confidential and are subject to change without prior notice

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY INTO SOUTH AFRICA

PASSPORTS

Please note that your passport must have at least 2 blank pages for the entry stamp, not including the ‘endorsement’ page at the back. Passengers who require a visa must have two blank pages next to each other, one for the visa and one for the entry stamp. Anyone attempting to enter South Africa without the required pages will be returned to their country of origin.

CHILDREN UNDER 18, ENTERING OR EXITING SOUTH AFRICA, EFFECTIVE 01 JUNE 2015

If parents are travelling with a child/child under 18 years old or if any child under the age of 18 years old is travelling to or from South Africa on his or her own, each applicable child will require a full unabridged birth certificate detailing the parents of the child, in order to gain entry or exit South Africa. This is irrespective of whether a visa was required for your travel to South Africa. If only one parent is travelling with a child under 18 years of age additional documentation will be required. Please contact your Travel Agent or refer to http://www.dha.gov.za/index.php/immigration-services for additional information regarding the requirements to avoid being denied access to South Africa.

BIOMETRIC VISAS

South African regulations require that travelers apply in person for visas to allow for biometric intake. Requirements for visitor’s visas differ from country to country (visit www.dha.gov.za/index.php/immigration-services/exempt-countries to see which countries are currently exempt), and the requirements are subject to change. As each application is treated as an individual case please make enquiries with your Travel Agent; nearest South African mission; consulate abroad or any office of the Department of Home Affairs, to see whether or not you are required to apply for a visa and the requirements.
